Social Services
NICE is honored to welcome refugees from around the world to Nashville.
Our Social Services
Our Social Services are for refugees, asylees, and SIVs who have been in the U.S. for less than 5 years.
Employment Support
Our employment support services include one-on-one job coaching and resume prep, job application assistance, and interview prep. We commit to placing our clients in living-wage jobs ($15+/hr) with benefits.
Benefits Navigation
NICE can help clients apply for ORR-eligible benefits such as SNAP and TennCare.
Social Services Case Management
If approved for support, clients will be assigned a case manager to assist them. Case managers can offer support with topics such as accessing healthcare, navigating U.S. systems, and referrals to English classes.
Preferred Communities Case Management
The NICE Intensive Case Management program offers culturally and linguistically competent services that help clients access medical and mental health services, social adjustments, and health screening and referrals. Our clients include people who are elderly, people with disabilities, survivors of violence and torture, and those experiencing psychological issues stemming from living through war and conflict.
Our case management team works closely with mental health care providers to connect clients to care and to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
