Meet Andrea Flores, our “career volunteer” here at NICE. Every time she has had an opportunity, Andrea has chosen to volunteer with NICE. Prior to her recent stint, Andrea Flores volunteered with NICE during the summer as a computer class teacher and tutor. In July 2012, Andrea returned to NICE as a volunteer in the Education Program. During these past few months Andrea has made a tremendous impact in the program. She currently teaches an ESL class twice a week and provides classroom assistance in another class. In addition, Andrea has helped to support NICE’s fundraising events, client registration sessions, and pre-GED curriculum development. Andrea’s positive and willing attitude makes her a great asset to NICE and her students love her. Her caring nature and commitment to her students has given them confidence in their ability to master the English language. NICE is proud to name Andrea as Volunteer of the Month.
