We are currently accepting applications! Start/end dates are flexible and based on the responsibilities and needs of each position. While all intern and volunteer positions are unpaid, the program is competitive, and you are encouraged to approach it in the same way you would a job. We ask for a minimum of 15 hours per week; Consistent availability Monday through Friday 8am -5pm; Occasional nights and Saturdays. Specific schedule to be negotiated with supervisor.

Adult Education Intern
Do you enjoy teaching others or assisting people’s learning? Interns will gain experience in working with adult English language learners, curriculum implementation and program management.
Do you like to plan events, attend parties, and organize? Interns will gain experience in event planning, community relations, and fundraising.
Work with development staff on grant writing, community relations, and fundraising.
Want to share our story or spread the word about the great work NICE is doing? Interns will gain experience in public relations and media management, community relations, and outreach.
Health Program Intern
Help educate refugees and immigrants on healthy living through health advocacy and services.
Match Grant Program Intern
Work with the resettlement program to assist in pre and post-employment activities for clients and file maintenance. Own transportation required.
Work with the resettlement team on various projects for the growth and stability of newly arrived refugees. Help with administrative duties, transporting clients, and assist in providing services for clients in their first 90 days after arrival.
