Sloane first began working at NICE in 2006 while she was still in high school. She worked with children, taught classes, coordinated programs and organized fundraising events to support NICE. Sloane is currently assisting in the coordination of our refugee health education program. Sloane has always been someone who exhibits extraordinary commitment to carrying out her assigned responsibilities, as well as projects above and beyond expectations, and she is always available when we need her. This is an incredibly valuable characteristic in a volunteer, and Sloane truly deserves this award. She is an incredible individual with a sincere passion for serving refugees, and NICE is blessed to have her.
