Title of Position: Social Entrepreneur Intern
Purpose: Interns will contribute their time, skills, and expertise in exchange for hands-on experience working in the employment department for a not-for-profit organization.
Requirements: Has interest and/or experience in business management, responsible, prompt, organized, patient, tolerant, indiscriminate, basic understanding of Microsoft Office Programs, solution-oriented, good written and oral communication skills, ability to work with clients of diverse background and limited English language skills, interest in international relations and management.
Training: Attend initial orientation meeting with program coordinator. Attend on-going trainings as required by the coordinator.
Location: 417 Welshwood Dr., Nashville TN 37211 Ste. 100
Time Commitment: Minimum of 15 hours per week; at least 8 – 10 hours spent per week in the office; Specific schedule to be negotiated with supervisor
Duties: Interns may be asked to complete some of the duties below
- Create structures for revenue generating projects
- Formulate program outline and oversee execution
- Research legal structures
- Evaluating and reviewing project implementation
- Client onboarding
- Assisting clients with job applications
