Please Pass the plate…
Start the year off right. There is nothing like planning to enjoy a scrumptious dinner surrounded by your friends and family. Its even better when the dinner you eat is in turn helping the less fortunate. You really can have the best of both worlds in one sitting.
Seed Money Suppers, a micro grant project of Community Food Advocates, will hold their second 2013 event, on Monday, January 28, at Sloco restaurant. NICE is happy to announce that we have won a spot in the competition for best proposal of the night. The winner gets to walk away with all the proceeds from the dinner sales that night. Make no mistake, its going to be stiff. There are four charities vying. We need you.
So how can you help?
Its simple…and delicious. Go to

Tickets are only $10 for Adults and $5 for Children. Buy your ticket today. Ask your friends and family to join and buy tickets too. During the dinner, you will be asked to vote for your favorite charity. Please have your group vote for NICE. The money we win will go towards supporting our Refugee Entrepreneurship Program, where we teach refugees to become business people and equip them with the skills they need to hopefully turn into successful future employers!
