Hyacinthe is originally from Kigali, Rwanda. She attended Hendrix College in Arkansas where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She also attended East Tennessee State University (ETSU), where she earned her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. Hyacinthe has worked as a residents’ director at ETSU where she worked with a very diverse group of students to ensure community building in the residence halls. Hyacinthe joined NICE as a Youth Mentorship Specialist, she is in charge of coordinating our youth mentorship program component. Hyacinthe is fluent in French, English and Kinyarwanda (mother-tongue).
