Originally from the Nashville area, Charlotte graduated from Union University with a Bachelor of Music degree. In 2018, she received her Teaching English as a Second Language certification from the Tennessee Learning Center. Her career working with refugees and immigrants began when she served as a volunteer ESL teacher for Begin Anew. She then taught an English Language Learners class for TLC at the Highlands classroom site and also for NICE at the Donelson Fellowship and Woodmont Hills Church. Prior to teaching ELL, she was an ESL/HiSet Program Director for Begin Anew in Woodbine.
