Ashley works tirelessly to ensure classes are fully enrolled, staffed with volunteers as needed and clients are receiving the services they need. She truly has a heart to serve those in need and has proven to be a great asset to the organization.
Congratulations to Emily Dunn, NICE’s March 2014 Volunteer of the Month. Emily has taken on numerous special projects with the after-school program in her time at NICE, including coordinating groups of visiting college students, collaborating on two feature articles for the NICE newsletter, and taking students on individualized field trips to explore college and career options. She has trained other interns and supported staff on adult education andvolunteer management projects. The Big Payback is coming May 6, 2014, and NICE is excited to take part in this monumental event!
The Big Payback, hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, is a community-wide online giving day that’s a special occasion to celebrate Middle Tennessee’s spirit of generosity and support the work of nonprofits.
This 24-hour online event will help nonprofits, like NICE, raise much-needed unrestricted dollars and bring awareness to pressing needs in our communities. Plus, your gifts made during The Big Payback will be increased by incentives and awards for participating nonprofits and may also help NICE qualify for thousands of dollars in special prizes and bonuses.
Through this event, NICE’s goal is to raise $15,000 to purchase a 12 passenger van. This van is vital to the sustained success and future growth of the programs at NICE. We need your help to allow us to reach this goal. Please be sure to share social media posts with The #BigPayback leading up to the event to spread the word and get everyone you can to donate on May 6th!
On the day of the event, you can give at this link or in the form below.
