Description:
Intro ELL classes are for the true beginners of the English language, emphasizing basic vocabulary and syntactical skills. Students of this level are not expected to have any previous experience with speaking or writing English. Because of the varying levels of skill, private tutors are available to work one-on-one with students who lag behind in class or who needs preliminary assistance before joining the class. At the end of the semester, students will be able to confidently ask basic questions about the world around them, be able to convey pertinent information about their lives, and fluently give directions. Students at this level use the Ventures Basic textbook and workbook.
Days: Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Time: 9:00-10:30am
