GED Classes
Recognizing that it has become near impossible to obtain a job without a high school diploma or equivalent GED, NICE offers its students the classes necessary to prepare for the GED exam. GED Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies are offered.
Classes are currently offered on Saturdays only at our office on Nolensville Pike. As a convenience to our students, all subjects are taught consecutively in 1.5-2 hour segments by volunteer teachers. There is no pressure to “complete” these classes within any time frame. Students are encouraged to take the GED exam when they are ready. The small class size allows for individual attention for students and teachers are easily accessible outside of class.
Enrollment fee: $20
Open to the public to attend.
Please note that we only offer the preparation classes, we do not offer any testing services. If you feel you are ready to take the exam and do not need the preparation classes, we encourage you to contact the YWCA.
